Description:
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher for the Secondary Phase to join our team for the Academic Year 2024-2025. As a Science Teacher for the Secondary Phase, you will play a vital role in nurturing our students’ curiosity and love for scientific concepts. You will be responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment, where students can explore and discover the wonders of science. With your expertise and enthusiasm, you will inspire and empower students to develop their scientific knowledge and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students’ interest in science.
- Develop and implement creative and engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to cater to students’ different learning styles and abilities.
- Conduct hands-on experiments and demonstrations to enhance students’ understanding and application of scientific principles.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through regular assignments, tests, and projects.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with other teachers to incorporate cross-curricular connections and real-world applications into lessons.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification.
- Proven experience teaching Science at the middle or high school level.
- Excellent knowledge of scientific concepts and principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize technology in teaching, such as interactive whiteboards and educational software.
- Proven ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
