Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teacher to join our team. As an EAL teacher, you will play a crucial role in helping non-native English speakers develop their language skills and achieve their academic goals. You will create engaging and effective lesson plans, assess students’ progress, and provide support and guidance to help them succeed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or EAL, and a passion for helping students from diverse cultural backgrounds. You will have excellent communication skills, a creative approach to teaching, and the ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive EAL lessons to students of various age groups and language proficiency levels.
- Assess students’ language skills, identify their individual needs, and develop appropriate learning objectives.
- Monitor students’ progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Implement a variety of teaching strategies and techniques to promote language development and improve students’ communication skills.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students’ participation and confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and instructional materials.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and research in the field of ESL/EAL teaching to ensure effective instruction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in TESOL, ESL, EAL, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or English as an Additional Language (EAL).
- Strong knowledge of language acquisition theories and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students.
- Familiarity with digital learning tools and technology for language instruction.
- Knowledge of cultural diversity and sensitivity to different learning styles and needs.
- Current teaching certification and/or relevant teaching qualifications.
